Today I finished my last thesis chapter!! It's not like I'm DONE. There's editing and interweaving to do, and introduction and a conclusion to write. But this concrete marker of all chapters Done is just too exciting!!

A couple weeks ago was the Brooklyn West Indian parade, the largest parade gathering in the country. There were 100s and 100s of Samba Dancers passing my front door. I love this neighborhood.
