today is the last counted day of the pandemic because mark received his second vaccination. although covid 19 is still going strong i consider our pod now free to safely re-enter the world (with masks)--what a vast relief. 396 days.

(i've been wondering when to end the "life in the time of covid" day count. first i thought it would be upon return to work, but now it looks like full-time return is a long time away. i decided that when both mark and i have received our second vaccine i'll stop the series. the pandemic won't be over, but we'll be able to safely interact outside our year-long pod.)
